Can I do it or not? When you need to get something done visualizations can help you be more confident and do a better job. Let’s start with what we want to accomplish. Get a picture in your mind of what you need to do. Then see yourself doing it. What we are working on now is being confident when we have to do something. In later posts we will go into deeper reasons why we are not confident.


Have only a few seconds, standing in line, walking to car, need  a 10 second break from work. Use this one. Give yourself strong self hypnosis.

  • My shoulders, arms and hands are strong.
  • My chest and stomach are strong.
  • My back and heart are strong.
  • I am strong.
  • See feel (mentally see feel) yourself starting the project, completing each step and then see the finished successful project.


This is great when you have a few minutes. You need to sit or lie down in a quiet area. Start with peace self hypnosis.

  • My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
  • My chest and stomach are at peace.
  • My back and heart are at peace.
  • I am at peace.
  • Next your PEP talk (next post)
  • I am confident.
  • I can do this or I can assemble the Ikea table or whatever…
  • I am a person that gets things done.
  • A new person is emerging…one that is confident…see feel this person emerging.
  • See feel (mentally see feel) yourself being confident before you start.
  • See feel yourself starting your project staying confident.
  • Completing each step.
  • Then see the successful project.


Need a boost? Nothing better than this 2 minute track. It will take you into light hypnosis and give you a boost. This one is generic so you can use any goal. This track is from the Reach Your Goal posts. It will give you a boost of confidence. Audio tracks provide motivation, confidence and help you stay on track. I have 2 kinds:

‘relax’ You need to sit or lie down in a quiet area or use headphones. The suggestions are 2nd person “You can reach your goal” as if a hypnotist was talking to you. They take you into light hypnosis. The regular tracks last 8-10 minutes. This ‘relax’ booster lasts 2 minutes.

‘outloud’ You can listen to these while cooking, working, driving anytime anywhere. It keeps you in normal consciousness. They use the first person “I can reach my goal” so you are like giving them to yourself. Regular are 7-10 minutes long.
