It feels so good to relax and let the tension and stress of the day go. Relaxation revitalizes you and makes you feel better. Many times you can get inspired and maybe come up with good ideas. And relaxation can take only a few seconds for ‘relax’ self hypnosis to minutes for the others. This Post will deal with three areas: a. Overall relaxing activities b. Relaxing while doing stuff c. Why do it?

RELAXATION ACTIVITIES

There are so many ways to relax. You probably have a few of your own. Here are some more you might want to try.

  • meditation
  • listening to relaxing music
  • self hypnosis
  • imagine taking a trip to Hawaii or any other place you want to go
  • playing cards with friends
  • watching TV
  • drinking a glass of wine
  • playing with your kids
  • walking in nature
  • exercise
  • make up your own

RELAXATION WHILE YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING

Many times we feel stressed or feel tension in our body This is where self hypnosis can come in. ‘relax relax’ is especially good and it can take only a few seconds so you can do it most anytime just make sure you are in a safe place. You can just notice that you are tense and say to yourself ‘relax relax’ and your muscles will relax.

‘relax relax’ SELF HYPNOSIS

Just repeat the words ‘relax relax’ twice and feel a wave of relaxation flow down thru your body. And the cravings, stress, anger whatever will go down and you will feel better. You can also just focus on the tense area of your body and say ‘relax relax’ and this area relaxes. To start imagine it happening. Takes time.

Other things we can do. Make sure you are in a safe place.

  • Take a minute break and imaging yourself doing something you like to do or going somewhere you want to go.
  • We can flex our muscles tight and let go. One by one or all together.
  • We can pray
  • One minute meditation
  • Talk to someone
  • Let a good memory come up and enjoy it
  • Look outside the window at the sky and any trees that may be there
  • Make up your own

WHY DO IT?

i believe that knowing the costs of not doing something will help motivate you to do it. The costs of not relaxing

  • more stress
  • muscles more tense which means you have less energy
  • could make mistakes
  • maybe actually get less done
  • could get angry and irritable
  • get tired especially at night
  • eat more
  • drink more coffee
  • drink more alcohol

BENEFITS OF RELAXING

  • Get revitalized
  • feel so much better while relaxing
  • can come up with an insight
  • have fun going on an imaginary trip to a fun place
  • think clearer
  • less stress
  • get away from the busy day
  • your mind is sharper

Relaxation is part of having a good day. I hope this helps.
