WEIGHT LOSS TIP – Should you go fast or take baby steps? When you start losing weight is it better to dump the junk and stop overeating and get right on your food plan from day 1 or is it better to slowly eliminate junk and overeating? It’s up to you, either way is fine. When I had to lose a lot of weight I started eating less and less junk and next started eating smaller portions. This is the only way I could do it. It took me 6 weeks to get to the right amount of food to lose 2 pounds a week. After that I kept eating the right amount and reached my goal weight. Garry

WEIGHT LOSS TIP – How much does your being overweight affect your energy level and your ability to get around? Try this. Pick up something that you know about how much it weighs, for example a 10 pound bag of flour or you can weigh something on your scale, and then carry it around for a few minutes. Feel how heavy it is and come to realize that if you are 50 pounds overweight you are carrying 5 of these 10 pound bags everywhere you go 24/7, that you are carrying 50 pounds around with you everywhere you go. By losing weight imagine how much easier it will be to go up and down stairs, to tie your shoes, to work at your job, to come home cook and clean, and have good times with your family. WEIGHT LOSS TIP – Are you getting too much sugar? Sodas, cookies, ice cream,…..  Check this out today by looking at labels and also realize that fruit juices are also sugar. Plus if some people eat cookies than they have cravings to eat more sugary treats. We need sugar but most people get way too much. Eating less sugar will help you lose weight. You can lose weight. WEIGHT LOSS TIP – Why do I want to lose weight? Why do I want to lose weight? Why do I want to lose weight. Keep asking yourself this question and write down the answers and you can also write down the question or do it mentally. Keep asking yourself for a few days until you get a lot of answers. Perhaps you will get an answer that will really motivates you. Insight and answer come on their own schedule perhaps when you wake up in the morning. Garry
