Starting a new project can raise so many doubts. If you want to lose 50 pounds it could take 6 months to a year. That’s a long time. How can I last that long? Most smokers have tried to quit many times and didn’t make it. How can I quit this time? Trying to get an ‘A’ on your next Math exam when your last exam was a ‘C’ grade can seem hopeless. So what can we do? We can go from ‘doubts’ to ‘I will’ with Self Hypnosis. I hope this post will help you.
They are my favorite way to remove doubts. You listen and they take you into self hypnosis to get motivated, to help remove temptations & doubts, and to gain insight. I have 2 types: ‘relax’ and ‘outloud’. The outloud keeps you in normal consciousness and can be listened to while sitting down, or cooking, cleaning, similar activities, most anytime anywhere or you can listen like it was music in the background. The relax track takes you deeper. You need to sit or lie down in a quiet area or use headphones. All are short 2-10 minutes so they will give you a quick burst of motivation.
Use the words ‘I can’ often. I can lose weight, I can exercise, I can get an ‘A’ on my Math exam. I can have $1,000 in commissions this week. Garry’s example: I had to lose 68 pounds. I knew it was possible. But I thought the odds were very slim. Doubts were popping up like popcorn. I just didn’t have the strength and willpower. I was too old. I get stressed out. Sometimes I get anxious or angry. It would probably take a year. Could I last that long? 18 months later I have lost 57 pounds with just a little more to lose. I know I can make it.
The words ‘I can’ are easier to accept than ‘I will’. If you have doubts start using the word ‘I can’ right away until you start believing you can. I can lose weight. I can exercise. I can get an ‘A’ on my Math exam. I can study and learn the material.
Start telling yourself ‘I can’ for your goal or change. Out loud or to yourself. Do this during a work break, while walking from your car, before studying, anytime anywhere. **When I ask you to say ‘I can reach my goal’ put in your own goal. For example: I can lose weight or I can ‘my mini goal’, I can get an ‘A’ whatever your goal is.
Just daydream about reaching your goal. Imagine it happening. For example weight loss: See the scale coming up with lower numbers. See feel the benefits. Whatever you want daydream about it while waiting in line, taking a work break, walking the dog, most anytime anywhere.
Do this as often as you can. It takes only a few seconds. Your Inner Mind needs to be told what you want to do and each time you are adding +++ suggestions. The Conscious Mind is the driver in a car with the Inner Mind the car. You need to steer, to step on the gas pedal and step on the brakes when needed. You can reach your goals.
If you are having doubts floating thru your mind they could be from past failures. You may have tried to lose weight many times or tried to quit smoking. Each time you failed you felt crushed and hopeless. Or you may have lost the weight but gained it back.
Look at your history regarding this goal and other areas of your life. Bring up your past attempts in any area. Ask and reflect on these two questions. What was going on? What did I learn? You can also use Peace self hypnosis. Self hypnosis takes some time to learn but you don’t have to go deep. Just say the words and go with them.
• Sit or lie down
• Use Peace self hypnosis. Say
• My shoulders, arms and hands are ‘at peace’ or ‘relaxing’ or ‘strong’
• My chest and stomach are at peace
• My back is at peace. I am at peace
• Bring into your awareness your goal
• Say: I can reach my goal 3 times. (put in your goal)
• Look at a past failure
• Ask: What was going on?
• What did I learn?
• Visualize being OK with this
Say: Wake up to a good day 126.96.36.199.1.
You can keep your eyes open or closed. Peace is usually closed, strong open, and ‘relax relax’ can be either. First read the self hypnosis script to get an idea of what it is. Then read these lines one by one and follow what is says until you get the script in your head and then let them unfold in your mind. Deep is not needed. For Peace or Strong self hypnosis you have more than one choice of words to use i.e. for strong you can use strong or energized either one is good just use the same one thru the whole self hypnosis.
While your failures can be discouraging, your successes can be super motivating. Look over your life for your accomplishments. Bring into your mind a success of any kind that you had. Look at the difficulties you had to overcome. See feel yourself having these feelings of success. You can use Strong or Peace self hypnosis.
Within me a new person is growing. One that reaches my goal. See feel this new person growing inside me and becoming the new me. You can use any image you want. Do this visualization often during your day.
These habits can be difficult to let go of. People can struggle. Most have doubts. I recommend spending time on this Post.
Do the above 5 sections for your goal. Continue listening to the audio tracks and reading your Goalsheet in the morning. Banish the doubts. You can start taking charge of your mind. Self Hypnosis Tools are about your Conscious Mind using your willpower to make adjustments to your Inner Mind so that it helps you reach your goal.
Many goals are hard to reach. You have to stay on track and struggle to get there. Something more important may come up like a medical problem and your goal may not seem important anymore. You might need to use every self hypnosis tool you have to stay on track. Make a list of the costs of giving up and think of them when you are struggling to stay on track.
Many people give up a bad habit when the costs get too high and they have had enough of it. Many times health issues factors into this for example smoking. Make a list of all the costs of giving up or failing to reach your goal. SIMPLE yet very motivating. Read them, say them, visualize them anytime anyplace. Nothing better to get you going again. For bad habits say them often especially before doing the bad habit.
