Can I do it or not? When you need to get something done visualizations can help you be more confident and do a better job. Let’s start with what we want to accomplish. Get a picture in your mind of what you need to do. Then see yourself doing it.
What we are working on now is being confident when we have to do something. Previously I mentioned that I was going to assemble an Ikea table with leaf. I must admit I had very little confidence that I could do it and plenty of stress. I did it with the help of a friend. In later posts we will go into deeper reasons why we are not confident.
Have only a few seconds, standing in line, walking to car, need a 10 second break from work. Use this one. Give yourself strong self hypnosis.
This is great when you have a few minutes. You need to sit or lie down in a quiet area. Start with peace self hypnosis.
Need a boost? Nothing better than this 2 minute track. It will take you into light hypnosis and give you a boost. This one is generic so you can use any goal. This track is from the Reach Your Goal posts. It will give you a boost of confidence. Audio tracks provide motivation, confidence and help you stay on track. I have 2 kinds:
‘relax’ You need to sit or lie down in a quiet area or use headphones. The suggestions are 2nd person “You can reach your goal” as if a hypnotist was talking to you. They take you into light hypnosis. The regular tracks last 8-10 minutes. This ‘relax’ booster lasts 2 minutes.
‘outloud’ You can listen to these while cooking, working, driving anytime anywhere. It keeps you in normal consciousness. They use the first person “I can reach my goal” so you are like giving them to yourself. Regular are 7-10 minutes long.
