Got a problem and need some help? Perhaps you’re having discipline problems with your daughter or you’re having writer’s block and your article is due. Or perhaps you just ate a whole bag of oreos. Your Inner Mind is a vast resource that can deliver insight and answers to help you deal with these everyday concerns. In this series of posts we will help you get insight and answers.


First we start with a question. They are a direct powerful way to get insight. They can be specific or general. Here are some samples.

  • Why am I angry?
  • I ate a whole bag of oreos. What was going on? What can I do about this?
  • How do I feel about my life so far?
  • How will this affect the rest of my life?
  • How can I discipline my son better?
  • What excites me the most about achieving my goal?

Close your eyes. Quiet your mind. Say peace self hypnosis.

  • My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
  • My chest and stomach are at peace.
  • My back and heart are at peace.
  • I am at peace.
  • Ask your question a few times. Reflect
  • Relax and wait for insight. May come later.


The next step is to see, feel, hear the insight or it can somehow just pop into your mind. Insight comes on its own schedule. The idea is to ask a number of times and be receptive. When you wake up in the morning is often when you get insight. NOTE: Insight can be wrong so be careful.
